Gigapan Dialogues news story

Here is a story from today's Pittsburgh Tribune-Review about the Gigapan Dialogues project we are working on together with UNESCO's International Bureau of Education. We are in the midst of running an international conference this week with teachers from South Africa, Trinidad, Tobago, Brazil and Indonesia meeting here with five rural and urban schools in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Curated Iran set

In these very trying times in Iran, our thoughts are with the citizens of that country and we have curated a set of GigaPan panoramas taken in Iran onto our front page to help humanize the places and people of that country.

GigaPan and art

The Mattress Factory has an exhibit of Thaddeus Mosley work and features a GigaPan of his home available for exploration- a nice art application of GigaPan. Enjoy exploring either in person in Pittsburgh at the museum or on their blog page.

New Feature: messaging

As some of you noticed as we started silently testing this last week, member messaging is now enabled. Go to "my home" and look for the "My Messages" tab to send messages to and receive messages from any GigaPan user. Thanks to Miriam on the engineering team for this new feature. Enjoy!
